Welcome to Creekside Haven!

We are excited to introduce you to our hidden gem-of-a-home tucked away in the glorious Pacific Northwest.

Creekside Haven was built in 1944 and spans over 2.5 acres of beautiful gardenscapes. This stunning 3500 sq. ft. home is nestled in the countryside of Sequim, WA, yet is only minutes from town.

We bought the property in 2019, eager to take on this new hosting adventure. We have worked tirelessly to create an inviting atmosphere and are honored to share this delightful space with guests from near and far. We hope you love it as much as we do!

The Haven Experience

At Creekside Haven, we want your stay to be memorable in the best way possible. Whether you are looking for a few nights of peaceful slumber away from a noisy city, or you’re coming here excited to visit a new community and make new friends, we want to be that for you.

We want your Haven Experience to be what you need to recharge and be rejuvenated.

So take a break and let your soul rest while you’re here... Come tour the gardens, relax in the custom suites, and enjoy an evening by the fire. Sometimes unplugging from the world helps you find calm, quiet, and balance in your life again.

Just living is not enough … One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.

ABOUT US

Kris & Rick -Photo by Lovesam Photography
We both grew up in this community! We love it so much, we thought we’d stay awhile.

Rick recently retired as a Sales Manager at a local Toyota dealership in June 2020. In his new retirement time, he enjoys golf and fishing. (If you ask nicely, he might even tell you about his favorite fishing spot!)

Kris is the president of a national company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her time is split between Creekside Haven and Las Vegas. Her attention to detail keeps us running top-notch.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our adventure as travel hosts and have been thrilled with our consistent 5-star ratings on AirBnB.

Kris and Rick are very kind and down to earth. Their home is the perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. They offer many personal touches that really transform their home into a peaceful getaway. My girlfriend and I went for my birthday and I couldn’t be happier with our stay! Great location, great views, and a warm atmosphere. I would highly recommend staying here!

ABOUT SEQUIM & THE OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK

We love our community! Sequim (pronounced “skwim”) is a charming little town nationally celebrated for its lush lavender farms. In the summer, the town hosts its annual Lavender Festival, featuring local vendors and artisans and their lavender-themed products. The small downtown shops and boutiques are also fun to explore, and also display local creations and artistry.

Sequim is also famous for its local Dungeness crab, which you will find on the menu at many restaurants in the area.

While you explore Sequim’s countryside, you will notice signs for elk crossing. If you’re lucky, you might get to see the town’s elk herd!

Sitting close to the entry to the Olympic National Park, Creekside Haven is a great place for hikers to stay to unwind from their adventures. We have many books, maps and personal knowledge of the park so feel free to ask us questions to narrow down your choices when planning your days with us.

There are so many special things about Sequim & the Olympic Peninsula that we would love to tell you about--but really, you’ll have to come see for yourself.

Creekside Inn is the most beautifully landscaped B & B’s we have ever stayed at!!! Our room was lovely and very comfortable with nice linens & all! Rick and Kris made sure you had everything you wanted and were very personable. We can’t wait to stay there again and would highly recommend Creekside Inn!!! The location is great for Pacific Northwest exploring!

Thank you Rick and Kris for sharing your beautiful house and garden with us. Rick’s recommendations for activities in the region were extremely helpful (hiking up Mt. Storm King, best spot to see the sunset in Sequim and many more). We appreciated the little breakfast bar and made use of it every morning. The terrace is great for dining. All in all, this has been one of the best Airbnb experiences ever!

It's our third stay at Creekside Haven. We love everything about our experience. The room was spacious and very clean, all amenities are perfect, kitchen is amazing as well as items provided for breakfast. The garden around the house is blooming. For me it's the number one place to stay in Sequim and I hope to return back in 2023
- Mariia
Pictures don’t do this place justice. The house and the grounds were beautiful. The suite was perfect for our weekend away, and we plan to be back!
- Jessica
Kris and Rick were absolutely great hosts! Their house and property is beautiful. Very communicative and gave us great instructions on everything we needed to know finding and getting into the property. Highly recommend this property for your stay in the peninsula!
- Amber
Stunning property, expertly managed. Everything at Creekside Haven was far beyond our expectations. Our hosts were available, knowledgable, and warm and friendly. Guests every need have been anticipated --- from the delicious breakfast offerings to a generous reading library, to inviting public spaces indoors and out. Just a wonderful retreat on the Olympic Peninsula.
- Carol
My daughter and I had a wonderful girls’ trip while staying at Kris and Rick’s place. The yard was adorned with beautiful flowers and shrubs. There were areas to relax outside and inside. The kitchen is enviable and I can’t wait to use on our next stay. Rick was a great host and helped us with recommendations for restaurants and Sol Duc Hot Springs (A must!). Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were fresh eegs for breakfast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee/tea pods. A simple breakfast to start our day. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. We’ll be back this fall!

The Creekhaven Suites are a gem on the Olympic Peninsula! This tranquil and beautiful property offers all of the comforts of home while traveling with generous and thoughtful hosts Rick and Kris. The room was impeccably cleaned, the bed was very comfortable and adorned with tasteful linens, and the shower had great water pressure. There are several common spaces, both indoor and outdoor, for guests to either spread out and enjoy their privacy or to socialize as desired. The grounds/ gardens are beautiful. The kitchen is extremely well-appointed and able to be enjoyed by guests for those who wish to cook and dine in the indoor dining room or the backyard patio, where there are multiple grills to use. Rick and Kris also offer a generous breakfast bar of coffee/tea, cereal/granola/oats, granola bars, juices, fresh fruit and farm fresh eggs. The hosts provide detailed check-in instructions and are very responsive as needed. This location makes for lovely accommodations for a couple exploring the many things to see/do on the Peninsula, but would also be great for a small family or friend reunion. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely gorgeous!!! The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. Rick is an INCREDIBLE host and the house is stunning. The kitchen was amazing and we appreciated all the little efforts Rick puts in to making sure his guests are comfortable. Our room was a perfect getaway and the outdoor space was such a lovely area to relax.
- Meagan
We loved every minute of our stay here and Rick & Kris’ place. It’s a really comfy and luxurious place with easy access to Olympic National Park. Rick was extraordinarily accommodating and went over and above any previous Airbnb stay we’ve experienced in the past! They provided coffee and a host of easy breakfast options for us to take on the go, in addition to having water, juice and tea for any time of the day. And it was such a cozy place to relax after a long day of hiking! Rick provided great tips for sight seeing and good conversation while we stayed, as well. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
- James
It was a completely pleasant surprise staying in a gorgeous place in a nice location, just minutes outside of downtown Sequim. We love the room with very comfy bed and high quality linens. The house spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with juices, yogurt, fruit and all the “help yourself breakfast” and snack stuff. The front porch has many inviting chairs to enjoy the beautiful garden surrounding the lovely house. We feel right at home staying at Creek Haven and would love to recommend it to family and friends for a great experience. Can’t wait to be back staying there next time hiking the Hurricane Ridge.
- Kari
Rick and Kris were probably the most kind hosts we ever met. The house is gorgeous and they are taking really good care of it, it is very beautiful and clean, and the outside area too. The amenities are modern. There are some chicken outside, which our daughter loved! We were treated very friendly and felt like we're visiting friends or relatives. The location was perfect to us. Calm, and in the middle of the attractions and our home. If we ever go to Olympic again, we totally know, where to stay!!!
- Olga
This was one of my favorite AirBnBs ! Kris and Rick are wonderful hosts; very welcoming and made us feel at home. They provided clear instructions for check in and our stay, offered tips for exploring the area and encouraged us to enjoy the property. Our suite was a nice size; a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. There are numerous shared spaces include two living rooms, large kitchen, dining room and outdoor patio with a gorgeous garden. Everything was throughly cleaned, making us feel comfortable to be there during this time. We look forward to going back!
- Caroline
Creekside Haven offers a placid, exquisitely care-for, lush landscape with winding paths and beautiful water features. The interior space includes generous and comfortable sitting rooms along with a two-room kitchen with all the amenities one could need and a generous array of snacks and breakfast foods. Our room was cozy, the bed just right, and included a large tub made for soaking. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully arranged. Rick and Kris were thoughtful and friendly hosts. Overall an exceptional place!
- Joseph
My adult daughter and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. The room was decorated so beautifully and had everything we need. We hung out in the den at night playing games that the hosts had. We cooked meals in the kitchen and we had everything we could need to make our meals. The host made sure to tell us to use some of the tomatoes from his garden and gave us access to all of the spices they had on hand. There was coffee and food for breakfast and the host gave us recommendations on restaurants and activities in the area. I hope to stay here again to enjoy the pond with a waterfall and the beautiful outside gardens around the property.
- Sally
If you're looking for the best Airbnb experience, this is the place. Everything was amazing, the house, the location, the hospitality. It was hard for me to leave this place. I would definitely go again. And, not to forget, the organic eggs were the cherry on the cake... loved it!☺️
- Ana
Outstanding in every way. Very responsive hosts. Very friendly. Great recommendations for local spots. And the property is breathtakingly beautiful. We’ll be back.
- Scott
They need to add a category above 5 stars ... reserved for places like this. I am a Superhost, but was humbled by this facility, its many thoughtful touches and welcoming charms . Well done
